Remote SLP Needed - Job in Illinois School
Macomb, IL
A local school district is looking for a teletherapist SLP for this school in Macomb, Illinois. This position includes direct and indirect services. Through teletherapy, the SLP will be able to work from home. The caseload has students with mostly mild disabilities and standard articulation disorders, grades K-12. The Speech Therapist will develop and implement IEPs, create goals, and provide direct therapy services, in group and individual forms. The SLP must be able to jump right in.
An Illinois SLP license is required, as is an updated computer. We are considering Clinical Fellows at this time per ASHA's new guidelines
Job Duties May Include:
- Providing direct IEP services to students centered on research-based, developmentally appropriate practices
- Direct services through pull out individual and small group sessions
- Communicating with families regarding progress, concerns, and support
- Participating in IEP meetings
- Completing documentation for students related to data collection and IEPs
- Evaluating students for special education
- EC screening process
- Supporting staff with student communication needs
