Remote Speech Therapy in IL

A full-time role is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in onsite services within a K-12 school setting in Belvidere, IL. This contract position covers a maternity leave and includes direct therapy, IEP meetings, IEP writing, and testing and assessments throughout the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to inform individualized education plans
- Collaborating with educational staff during IEP meetings to develop and update plans
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience delivering speech-language therapy services in school environments
- Familiarity with speech therapy telepractice (teletherapy/telespeech) is advantageous
