Primary Responsibilities
- Cultivate a positive, structured, and secure environment that supports both academic and social growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, specialists, and school staff to support students' individual needs across diverse settings.
- Design, manage, and deliver Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, tailoring instruction for each learner.
- Adjust teaching approaches and materials to fit a range of learning styles, abilities, and challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- License: Valid Maine SLP license
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with students with communication disorders; virtual therapy experience preferred
- Technical: Stable high-speed internet and reliable computer
Position Details
- Employment Type: 1099 contract
- Compensation: $45-$50 per hour, with guaranteed weekly hours
- Support: Access to clinical and technical assistance as needed
