Speech Pathology Work From Home - MS
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential support services within a K-12 educational setting in Long Beach, MS. This position focuses on serving students with mild to moderate disabilities, delivering direct therapy, conducting assessments, and participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The role offers approximately 28-30 hours per week on a contract basis, running from ASAP through June 2026, with a potential for a hybrid or voco work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with educational teams during IEP meetings to develop and adjust student plans
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with district policies
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Current Mississippi state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with mild to moderate disabilities in educational or clinical settings
- Strong skills in telepractice (telespeech) are a plus and may be utilized depending on service delivery method
- Ability to adapt to both onsite and remote service delivery scenarios
- Effective communication and organizational skills
