Speech Pathology Work From Home - CA
A temporary remote opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment support for a K-12 school setting. This contract role involves conducting speech and language evaluations via teletherapy to assist with pending caseloads and maintain compliance with mandated service timelines.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive speech and language assessments through teletherapy platforms
- Preparing detailed evaluation reports and maintaining accurate documentation
- Ensuring adherence to state and federal requirements related to assessment and service delivery timelines
- Collaborating remotely with district personnel and Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to support student needs
- Managing scheduling flexibly in alignment with current assessment volume
Desired qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and credentials to practice in California
- Experience delivering teletherapy services, with a focus on speech and language assessments
- Knowledge of K-12 educational settings and compliance standards for special education services
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a virtual environment

This contract role offers flexible, part-time hours suited to fluctuating assessment demands. Immediate availability is preferred to provide short-term support that ensures timely completion of evaluations and continuity of services.
