This position focuses on providing speech-language pathology services through teletherapy and in-person settings across educational and healthcare environments. The role includes working with pediatric and school-aged clients, supporting speech and language development within schools and healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students and patients in both school and healthcare settings
- Conduct teletherapy sessions adhering to best practices and program guidelines
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in pediatric populations
- Collaborate with educational and healthcare teams to develop individualized therapy plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with professional standards
- Support clients through their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) when applicable
- Assist licensed speech-language pathologists as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in healthcare and school environments
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligible for CCC
- Experience working in pediatrics, schools, or healthcare settings
- Proficient in delivering teletherapy services
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification for assistant roles
- Effective communication and organizational skills suitable for virtual and in-person therapy
- Adaptability to diverse client needs and collaborative work environments
