Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in providing telehealth services to students through the VocoVision platform. This is a 1099 contract position offering the flexibility to work from home with a schedule that suits your availability. As an SLP, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders via virtual therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech and language services to students in a virtual school environment using VocoVision.
- Conduct online assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students based on assessments.
- Provide engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing interactive online tools.
- Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational staff to support student success.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, contributing speech and language goals and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of therapy activities and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience with telehealth therapy is a plus, but not required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
- Previous experience working with children, especially in a school-based environment, is preferred.
