Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Kansas
Our school district is hiring a Virtual School Psychologist who is committed to fostering student success. The position involves performing evaluations, providing counseling, and consulting with IEP teams to design targeted supports. This work requires proficiency in online communication and data management systems. You’ll partner with staff and families to ensure strategies are effective and personalized. Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current Kansas Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours (dependent on contractor experience/district budget)
