Speech Teletherapy - WI
A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in a Wisconsin school district. The role is flexible, offering virtual teletherapy options or onsite work in Elkhorn, WI, with a commitment of two days per week from late January through late April. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLP to provide targeted support to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities include delivering speech-language services to approximately 36 students, primarily middle school (6th-8th grade), with additional high school and one beyond-18 student. The caseload is comprised of individuals with mild to moderate disabilities, requiring tailored therapeutic interventions. Collaboration with educational staff and adherence to established IEP goals are key components of this role.
Qualifications and experience preferred for this opportunity:
- Valid Wisconsin SLP license and certification through the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) are mandatory
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy and telespeech techniques for virtual service delivery
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly middle and high school age groups
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and provide effective, individualized treatment plans
