An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy to support K-12 students. This contract position offers the chance to provide critical remote speech services throughout the school year, helping students across various grade levels develop essential communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote speech therapy sessions through telepractice platforms tailored to individual student needs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educational staff to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with relevant regulations
- Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to promote student growth and engagement remotely
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or equivalent)
- Proven experience providing speech therapy through telepractice methods, including telespeech and teletherapy
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development across the K-12 age range
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively in a virtual environment
- Familiarity with applicable educational laws and regulations related to speech services
