Speech Pathology Work From Home - TX

Providing specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy for students in a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) program requires a skilled and compassionate clinician fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to support K-12 students in a regional day school program (RDSPD) focused on auditory-oral and total communication approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations and teletherapy treatment to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Utilize expertise in ASL and DHH certification to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and families to enhance communication development and academic success
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or possession of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) certification
- Experience working with the Deaf/Hard of Hearing student population in K-12 educational settings
- Comfort with telespeech and teletherapy technology and protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Mesquite, Texas, serving students via a regional day school program for the deaf
Contract Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration through May 28 of the current school year
- Immediate availability preferred
