An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position supports students’ communication development through remote service delivery, enhancing access to specialized speech therapy in a dynamic virtual environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments via teletherapy platforms
- Delivering individualized speech therapy sessions to K-12 students remotely
- Collaborating with educators and families to create and implement effective communication plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Adhering to ethical and professional standards in telepractice settings
Qualifications and skills sought:
- Valid certification and licensure for SLP practice in the state of California
- Proven experience with telespeech or teletherapy service delivery methods
- Strong familiarity with K-12 communication disorders and intervention strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored for virtual environments
