Virtual Speech Therapist - Early Intervention & Early Childhood (Ages 0-5)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to children ages 0–5 and their families throughout Oregon. This position focuses on early intervention and early childhood special education (EI/ECSE), delivering speech and language support via teletherapy. The ideal candidate will collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational teams to promote communication development in everyday routines and natural environments using virtual tools.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and provide individualized therapy services for children ages 0–5.

Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.

Use a family-centered, routines-based approach to coach caregivers and educators in supporting communication development.

Maintain accurate documentation including evaluations, therapy notes, progress reports, and service logs in accordance with Oregon EI/ECSE and Medicaid standards.

Participate in virtual team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development.

Track child progress and adjust therapy goals and strategies as needed.

Provide culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and engaging virtual services.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current Oregon SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Experience working with children ages 0–5 in early intervention, preschool, or home-based settings.

Knowledge of Oregon’s EI/ECSE system and early childhood development milestones.

Strong skills in telepractice, including use of virtual therapy platforms and digital resources.

Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a remote caseload effectively.

Bilingual (especially Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
