An opportunity is available for a Virtual School-Based Speech Language Pathologist specializing in supporting students through remote services. This position requires delivering individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of 14 students, utilizing telepractice methods.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders virtually
- Developing and implementing IEP goals tailored to students' needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student data
- Complying with state and federal regulations for special education and therapy services
Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid Nevada Speech Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Proven experience providing speech-language services within a school setting
- Comfort and proficiency in delivering teletherapy services
