Speech-Language Pathologist – Contract Opportunity – Houston, TX
A school-based contract position for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is available in Houston, TX, specializing in telespeech services as well as traditional school settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language evaluations and therapy to students using telepractice as well as direct school-based service delivery.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school regulations.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute input regarding speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA.
- Experience delivering speech therapy in school settings.
- Proficiency in telespeech or telepractice service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and educational standards.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
