Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual 1:1 and small group speech-language therapy to K–12 students using engaging, evidence-based methods.
- Conduct online evaluations to determine speech/language needs and create targeted intervention plans.
- Develop, implement, and track IEP goals in compliance with Texas and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to align services with student needs.
- Use secure teletherapy platforms (e.g., Zoom, Presence) to deliver interactive, effective sessions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- 2+ years of school-based experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and delivery
- Comfort and confidence using teletherapy technology
Technology Requirements
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Laptop or desktop computer (Chromebooks and tablets not supported)
- Successful completion of a brief tech screen check to ensure system compatibility
