A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school environment. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy interventions to students, utilizing telepractice methodologies to support communication development effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting virtual evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation compliant with professional and regulatory standards.
- Utilizing telecommunication technology to facilitate engaging and interactive speech therapy sessions.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Proficiency in telespeech services and familiarity with telepractice platforms.
- Prior experience working in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students remotely.
- Knowledge of IDEA regulations and best practices in speech therapy for school-aged children.
