Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - Texas
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy to students in grades K-12 at multiple school sites. This role focuses on delivering bilingual speech-language support and teletherapy interventions that enhance communication skills and academic performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy sessions remotely using telepractice methods.
- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with state licensure and district policies.
- Communicate effectively with families and team members to support student progress and address concerns.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, with logged supervised hours.
- Ability to provide bilingual speech-language therapy services.
- Experience working with K-12 age groups.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices in virtual speech therapy delivery.
Location: Remote teletherapy services supporting students within the San Antonio, TX area.
