Telehealth Speech Therapy in LA

A full-time speech-language pathologist role is available to deliver teletherapy services focused on school-aged children within the New Orleans, LA area. This contract position requires proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy modalities to support students in compliance with school district requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing teletherapy speech-language services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Managing caseloads predominantly comprised of school-aged children, with specific assignments to be determined
- Collaborating with district personnel by fulfilling credentialing forms and complying with HR processes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state licensure AND full licensure in the residing state
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) current and in good standing
- Minimum three years of direct experience within Louisiana public school settings
- Demonstrated expertise with teletherapy speech-language services
- Successful completion of a technology screening and prescreen interview process
- Provision of at least one professional reference
This role encompasses 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligned with the school calendar. The daily schedule includes seven hours of work plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Candidates must be prepared to promptly complete district credentialing documentation.
