Teletherapy Speech Therapy in LA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting in Gretna, LA. This contract role spans the current school year, with an anticipated duration from ASAP through late May 2026. The position requires delivering speech-language therapy remotely, supporting students across various grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions for students requiring speech and language support.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Communicate regularly with families and educators to monitor student progress.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of K-12 students in a virtual environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Louisiana state licensure and licensure in the state of current residence.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is required.
- Minimum of three years’ experience providing speech-language pathology services in school settings, preferably within Louisiana schools.
- Demonstrated experience in teletherapy service delivery.
- Successful completion of a technology screening.
- Professional references available upon request.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.
- Daily schedule includes 7 hours of work plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Services are delivered remotely to students in the Gretna, LA area.
