A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide teletherapy services for students in a K-12 school setting, serving a school district in Louisiana. This full-time contract position requires delivering remote speech therapy sessions to children across various grade levels. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting teletherapy sessions using evidence-based speech-language pathology techniques
- Assessing and monitoring student progress in communication skills remotely
- Collaborating with educators and parents to support individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and district standards
- Participating in virtual meetings as required by the school district
Qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state license and full licensure in state of residence
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Proven experience with teletherapy service delivery
- Successful completion of a technical screening
- One professional reference available upon request
This contract involves 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Caseload details and school assignments will be determined. Candidates must meet all qualifications and complete the appropriate presentation documentation fully to be considered. Pre-screening is mandatory prior to submission to the school district, with interviews expected to commence in early December.
