A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available working with K-12 students in a school setting located in Metairie, LA. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending May 22, 2026. The role includes providing teletherapy services and requires flexibility to support caseload needs as assigned.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to students in grades K-12
- Collaborating with educators and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Participating in team meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license in Louisiana, plus full licensure where the candidate currently resides
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience practicing as an SLP in Louisiana schools
- Proven competency in teletherapy methods and delivery
- Successful completion of required technology screening
- One professional reference on file
Schedule includes 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Number of schools and caseload details will be determined upon placement.
