A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in teletherapy services. This role involves delivering virtual speech-language therapy primarily within a school setting. Approximately 70 hours of makeup services are required, providing flexibility and the chance to apply specialized skills in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans using teletherapy platforms
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with educational standards
- Collaborate remotely with educators and caregivers to support student communication goals
- Ensure compliance with relevant speech-language pathology standards and school policies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in teletherapy, specifically in school-based settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective virtual interactions
- Familiarity with digital platforms used for teletherapy and remote education
- Ability to manage time efficiently and adapt to the scheduling needs of students and families
Location: Position supports students within a New Britain, CT school district through virtual services.
