Remote School Speech Therapy - Illinois
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide services in an elementary school setting, with options for onsite or virtual teletherapy delivery. This contract role requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year. The caseload will primarily focus on early childhood and elementary school-aged students, supporting their communication and language development.
Key responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy tailored to individual student needs, conducting assessments, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress. Candidates should have experience with both in-person and teletherapy modalities, demonstrating flexibility and strong communication skills.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Familiarity with pediatrics, school-based therapy, and early childhood interventions
- Experience providing telepractice services and handling teletherapy platforms
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Background in healthcare settings is a plus but not required
