Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - LA
A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing teletherapy services within an educational setting near Gretna, LA. This contract position spans the academic year from early August 2026 through late May 2027, delivering support to school-aged students with communication needs via telespeech and teletherapy platforms.
Responsibilities include conducting telepractice assessments, designing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating remotely with educators and family members. Qualifications and desired experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license to practice as an SLP
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Expertise in telespeech and teletherapy delivery methods
- Ability to complete district-required credentialing and HR documentation promptly
The position requires commitment to a 35-hour workweek, structured as seven hours per day with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. Specific caseload assignments and school locations will be communicated upon finalization.
