Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Work From Home | Louisiana

A full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within the educational setting. This contract position starts in early August 2026 and continues through late May 2027, supporting students in the New Orleans area.
Location:
- Harvey, LA (New Orleans metropolitan region)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services remotely to students, utilizing teletherapy platforms
- Support caseloads that will be determined closer to start date, serving school-age populations
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Complete district-required human resource forms prior to placement commencement
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or willingness to provide teletherapy services in a school setting
- Ability to comply with time-sensitive credentialing and documentation processes
Hours:
- Full time, 35 hours per week
- 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Additional Information:
- Number of schools assigned and caseload specifics will be provided closer to the start date
- Placement is contingent upon school board contract renewal scheduled for early June 2026
