A full-time contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within the New Orleans, LA area. This role supports school-based therapy services adhering to the local school calendar schedule, approximately 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a daily schedule of 7 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech-language pathology services to children in school settings.
- Manage and adjust caseloads according to student needs and district requirements.
- Complete all required documentation and reporting following district guidelines.
- Collaborate remotely with educational staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with district credentialing and participate in required interviews and screenings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current, active Louisiana state licensure and licensure in the candidate’s home state.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing services in school settings, preferably within Louisiana.
- Demonstrated experience delivering teletherapy services.
- Successful completion of a technology screening.
- One professional reference relevant to school-based SLP work.
- Willingness to complete district HR credentialing forms and internal eligibility interviews.
