Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy | Louisiana
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available working with K-12 students in a school setting located in Metairie, LA. This contract role spans the current school year, ending in May 2026. The position focuses on providing teletherapy services, supporting speech and language development for children across a range of ages within the school district.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality teletherapy speech and language interventions, collaborating with educators and support staff to develop individualized plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress. The role requires flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, aligned with the school calendar.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state license in Louisiana, with full licensure in the candidate’s state of residence
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a school setting, preferably in Louisiana
- Demonstrated experience providing teletherapy services
- Successful completion of a technical screening
- At least one professional reference on file
