An onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized speech and language support in a PreK–4th grade school setting. This contract role begins immediately and concludes on May 27, 2025, with a 35-hour workweek dedicated to delivering direct therapy services. The position focuses on supporting early education students with speech and language needs, offering an opportunity to impact young learners’ communication skills through personalized intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations and therapy tailored to individual student needs within a PreK–4th grade educational environment
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with program goals and state requirements
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to onsite settings, ensuring inclusive support for students across the building
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments and interventions
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISLBE)
- Experience with onsite service delivery in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential for caseload management
- Flexibility to support evolving caseload requirements
