This contract role offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services through teletherapy within a middle school environment. The position requires expertise in delivering teletherapy and telespeech interventions to students, focusing on middle school-aged children.
Location: Saint Joseph, Illinois
Duration: Contract through the current school year, ending May 27, 2025
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective speech-language pathology teletherapy services to 7th and 8th graders within a middle school setting
- Provide additional support to students in grades 9-12 and assist a PreK-5th grade school as needed
- Manage and maintain a caseload aligned with assigned schools
- Collaborate remotely with school staff to support student communication development
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current SLP license for Illinois
- Proven experience in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery
- Strong ability to manage caseloads independently in a virtual setting
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Background working in middle school and secondary educational settings is highly desirable
