Position 1:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Preschool caseload of approximately 48 children, including 27 Special Day Class (SDC) students and 21 speech-only preschoolers
- Duties encompass conducting assessments, attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Ability to quickly engage in high-priority assessments and IEP processes is essential
Position 2:
- Part-time (25 hours per week)
- Caseload primarily TK-2nd grade students, around 25 total; 15-20 receive speech-only support
- Responsibilities include direct therapy services, evaluations, and participation in IEP meetings
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials applicable to California schools
- Experience working within California school districts that use the Special Education Information System (SEIS) within the last 1-2 years
- Demonstrated capability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate during assessments and IEP meetings
Locations: Chowchilla and Madera, California
Contract duration aligns with the current school year calendar.
