Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a virtual capacity. As a Virtual SLP, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals of all ages who exhibit communication, language, and swallowing disorders. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly from home while making a significant impact on the lives of your clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and innovative telepractice tools.
- Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, and other professionals to optimize client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing information.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
- Valid Maryland state licensure
- Proven experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably including telepractice experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with diverse clients and families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and other technology required for virtual practice.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively while adhering to ethical and professional guidelines.
