Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Wisconsin
Seeking a collaborative and experienced Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to work with a small caseload of students across different time zones. This flexible role includes live instruction, IEP goal implementation, and consultation with general education staff to promote inclusive practices. Proficiency in ASL and experience with online instruction are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current Wisconsin Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
