Position Summary: VocoVision is looking for a skilled and compassionate Remote School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this 1099 contractor role, you will work from home while providing essential speech and language services to K-12 students. You will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver engaging therapy sessions in a supportive online environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough virtual assessments for students with speech and language disorders.
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver interactive therapy sessions using advanced teletherapy tools.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices and innovations in school-based speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to supporting children’s development.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
