Speech Teletherapy - VA
Deliver virtual speech-language pathology services tailored to a diverse student population ranging from preschool to middle school. The role requires managing a caseload of approximately 50 students with a focus on K–6th grade learners, including general education, resource students, preschoolers, and those with autism receiving push-in support. Services emphasize communication development, including assistance with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices such as low-tech options and eye gaze systems.
Responsibilities include conducting telespeech sessions, developing individualized therapy plans, documenting progress, and collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals. The position operates remotely, providing flexibility in service delivery within scheduled hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in speech-language pathology
- Experience providing virtual speech therapy services (VOCO SLP or Virtual SLP experience preferred)
- Skilled in supporting students with diverse communication needs, including AAC users
- Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology and ability to manage a caseload of 50+ students
- Capacity to work full-time (37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week)
