Remote Sign Language Interpreter
Location: Remote (Serving School Districts in Indiana)
Type: Contract / Full Time (Flexible)
School Year: 2025–2026
Are you passionate about supporting deaf and hard of hearing students—and looking to make a difference from wherever you are? We are partnering with multiple school districts across Indiana to provide virtual Sign Language Interpreting services for the 2025–2026 school year.
How It Works:
- The student remains in the classroom with peers, equipped with a tablet.
- The classroom teacher wears a microphone to enhance clarity.
- You will interpret live via Zoom, allowing the student to fully engage in a general education setting while receiving real-time support.
- Fluent in ASL and experienced in educational interpreting
- Minimum 4.0 EIPA Score (preferred)
- RID/NIC certification or state credentials (preferred)
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote setup
- Highly competitive compensation rates (Negotiable based on experience)
- Work from Home - Fully Remote
- Flexible Schedule
- 10-15 minute screening call with a VocoVision Recruiter
- Completion of VocoVision Tech Screening Assessment
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
