Remote Bilingual Communication Specialist (SLP)
Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Maine
Are you a bilingual SLP who enjoys sharing knowledge? This position includes delivering virtual professional development sessions to teachers and paraprofessionals on best practices in supporting bilingual students with speech-language needs. Topics include language difference vs. disorder, classroom strategies, and inclusive communication.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Current Maine Teaching Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

Manage a dynamic caseload of bilingual students from various grade levels in a remote school district.
