An opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within an educational setting. This contract role supports K-12 students through remote speech and language intervention, providing essential therapy to a diverse student population.
Location: Converse, TX
Assignment Term: Immediate start through May 29, 2026
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech and language services to students across multiple schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff remotely to support student progress and accommodations
- Document sessions and maintain compliance with state and departmental regulations
- Participate in virtual meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology licensure (from Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)
- Ability to provide bilingual services in speech-language pathology
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, especially if clinical hours are logged
- Experience working with K-12 age range preferred; open to candidates with 0+ years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills suitable for teletherapy delivery
- Willingness to complete prescreening interviews to assess role suitability
Professional Credentials Required Prior to Placement:
- Current Texas SLP license
- ASHA certification (if applicable)
- Documented professional references
