A contract opportunity is available for a Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting elementary students in grades K-5. This position is designed to provide telepractice speech therapy services within a school setting in Belleville, Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in meetings and provide input for individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Adhere to state and federal regulations and guidelines governing school-based therapy
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
- Experience providing speech therapy services to elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively deliver therapy via telepractice platforms
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Part-time, 20 hours per week
- Scheduled across 5 days per week
- Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
