Remote School Speech Therapy - Florida
A full-time opportunity is available for a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services within elementary and middle school settings in the Florida Panhandle region. This role supports a K-12 school environment and focuses on delivering high-quality speech-language services remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech therapy sessions for students in elementary and middle school.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district policies.
- Utilize telepractice techniques to engage students effectively in a remote setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred, with a strong background in virtual therapy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Location and Schedule:
- Position supports schools located in the Florida Panhandle, including Niceville and surrounding areas.
- Full-time role, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration through the current school year, ending in late May.
