Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - Alabama
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available with an assignment starting April 23rd and continuing through the end of the school year. This onsite contract role is based in Decatur, AL, supporting school-aged students with speech and language needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Participating in meetings and providing recommendations to enhance communication skills
Desired qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience delivering telespeech services is a plus
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and manage caseload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
