A leave coverage opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a school setting near Decatur, Alabama. This full-time contract position spans approximately from April 20, 2026, through May 20, 2026, providing essential therapeutic services during a temporary absence.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid Alabama SLP license and school credential
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school environments
- Ability to deliver telespeech and teletherapy services effectively
- Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements
- Comfort working with children across a broad age range, from early childhood through middle school
