Remote School Speech Therapy - Alabama
Located in Tuscaloosa, AL, this contract position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities include delivering direct speech therapy to assigned caseloads at both middle and elementary school levels. The role involves managing one full-time caseload at the middle school and two part-time caseloads (20 hours per week each) at elementary schools. Duties encompass providing therapy services, completing makeup minutes, participating in IEP team meetings, performing case management for speech-only students, and conducting evaluations as appropriate.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Valid Alabama state SLP license or Alabama Speech Educator Certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Proficiency in teletherapy methods and telespeech services
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
