An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services, providing support primarily to elementary-aged students with occasional work involving high school students. This contract position is part time, offering 21 hours per week with the potential to increase to full time, designed as a temporary solution until an on-site candidate is secured.
Location: Johnstown, OH
Setting: Elementary School (with some high school involvement)
Duration: Current school year (CSY)
Contract Type: 1099 Contractor
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver telepractice speech-language therapy sessions to elementary students, with some high school caseload responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate effectively with school staff and parents to monitor student progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Adapt therapy approaches to support diverse learner needs within the remote setting
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience and proficiency in telespeech service delivery
- Ability to work independently and adjust schedules flexibly as needed
- Strong communication skills with an understanding of educational environments
- Comfortable operating as a 1099 contractor
