Position Summary: We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Remote School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This 1099 contractor position allows you to work from home while providing vital speech and language services to K-12 students. You will assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication challenges in a supportive virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments for students with speech and language disorders.
- Create and implement tailored individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions using interactive digital tools.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in school-based speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued.
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule.
