Speech Teletherapy - CA
A contract position is available in a K-12 school located in Chowchilla, CA, offering opportunities for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy to students across various grade levels.

Position 1 (Full-time, 40 hours/week):
- Manage a preschool caseload of 48 students, including 27 in Special Day Classes (SDC) and 21 speech-only preschool children.
- Conduct assessments, participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Must provide a reference from a California school district using SEIS within the last 1-2 years.
- Must be prepared to lead high-priority assessments and IEP meetings.
- Supervision of an SLPA is required.
Position 2 (Part-time, 25 hours/week):
- Serve a caseload of approximately 25 students from transitional kindergarten through 2nd grade, with 15-20 speech-only students.
- Provide direct speech therapy services, conduct evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Must provide a reference from a California school district using SEIS within the last 1-2 years.
Qualifications:
- California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy and familiarity with SEIS documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within educational settings.
- Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy and/or onsite speech-language services tailored to student needs.
- Perform comprehensive student assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings.
- Document services and outcomes in compliance with school and state regulations.
