Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Telehealth (Must be licensed in Minnesota)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote speech and language services to K–12 students in Minnesota public schools. The SLP will support students’ communication needs through teletherapy, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with school staff to improve student outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver remote speech-language therapy to students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Conduct virtual assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop individualized therapy plans.

Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams to establish goals and accommodations.

Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress reports, and documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines.

Communicate effectively with students, families, teachers, and administrators to support carryover of skills and promote student success.

Adhere to all FERPA, HIPAA, and district privacy standards while using secure virtual platforms.
Qualifications:
Required:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Current Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) licensure for SLPs.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

At least one year of experience providing services in school-based settings.

Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, or other FERPA-compliant tools).

Reliable internet and a quiet, secure home workspace.
Preferred:

Experience with virtual therapy models and online IEP systems.

Familiarity with special education compliance and documentation in Minnesota.

Bilingual or multilingual SLPs are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment:
This is a fully remote position serving students in Minnesota. Candidates must have a home-based setup that meets professional standards for virtual therapy (including high-speed internet, webcam, and headset). Flexible scheduling options may be available depending on school district needs.
