Virtual School SLP | Michigan
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide telespeech and teletherapy services in a school setting. The role focuses on delivering specialized support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, primarily serving elementary and middle school levels, with some initial evaluations for younger children.
Location: Rochester, MI (Teletherapy within the local district)
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026, with Extended School Year (ESY) and Non-Standard Year (NSY) renewals highly likely.
Schedule: Approximately 35 hours per week with flexibility to design your work hours around the school day schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy speech and language services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct initial speech and language evaluations for younger students.
- Collaborate virtually with school personnel to support student progress and communicate assessment results.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience with telespeech or teletherapy service delivery in educational settings.
- Ability to assess and support a diverse student population across K-12 grades.
- Strong communication skills for virtual interactions with students, staff, and families.
