Speech Teletherapy - IL
A contract opportunity is available providing speech-language pathology services via teletherapy within a K-12 educational setting in Elgin, IL. This full-semester engagement focuses on support for students ranging from PreK through 8th grade, offering an opportunity to impact communication development in diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, primarily through teletherapy platforms.
- Conduct assessments and progress monitoring aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Provide services specifically during designated hours, including direct therapy sessions on Fridays from 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience delivering teletherapy services in educational settings, with proficiency in telespeech or teletherapy techniques.
- Familiarity with PreK to 8th-grade speech and language developmental milestones.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and progress monitoring effectively.
- Ability to work a consistent weekly schedule of 15-20 hours, including mandatory Fridays.
