Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - Illinois
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy to support students virtually from January 6 to February 13. This 6-week contract position focuses on providing speech and language services within a PreK-8 educational setting.
Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based teletherapy sessions that address individual student needs, conducting assessments, and documenting progress. The role also involves providing IEP minutes in accordance with federal and state regulations to support compliance and student success.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification applicable to telepractice
- Demonstrated proficiency in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery
- Knowledge of special education laws and IEP development processes
- Strong communication skills for engaging students in a virtual environment
- Experience working with PreK-8 student populations preferred
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
