A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within an early childhood educational setting serving students from Pre-K through 1st grade. This role is primarily based onsite in Joliet, Illinois, with no travel required. Part-time candidates will also be considered for this opportunity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field
- Valid Illinois license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Professional Educator License (PEL) certification in Illinois
- Experience working with early childhood populations is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through 1st grade
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Utilize telespeech methods when appropriate to enhance service delivery
